I highly recommend this cat food as did my vet. It is a little more expensive but well worth it. I have been giving it to my cat for about 6 years and he is now a very healthy 13 year old. It also comes in many varieties i.e. maintenance, low fat, etc.
This company also has a line of dog food which worked very well for my dog.

I have owned cats most all my life. My answer to your question is Hills Science Diet dry food is the best I have ever used. They will not eat the canned, but will eat the dry. I have one and have had others that had kidney disease so mine are on Prescription Hills Science Diet CD and have been for years. Just for info Sissy lived to be 20 years old. Oliver is 17 years old. Yes I do indeed believe in Hills Science Diet Food and think it is great quality dry food. I however would never recommend IAMS as I have not found it to be a good quality food in my experience.

From an allergic point yes, but not from a nutritional basis. Whether or not your pet has allergies, Natural Balance Limited Ingredients is far better nutritionally at a fraction of the cost of Hill's.
