I have been on hemodialysis at a clinic for the last year and am now starting peritoneal dialysis at home, I am in the process of putting myself on the transplant list, I am also a diabetic (which caused the kidneys to fail). Are you still on all the medications that are required for the transplant? Are you on any restricted diets. I'm glad you are doing well, I'm hoping to get a transplant in the next two years. Jim

I am on medications that are required to keep from rejecting the transplant. I had one rejection episode a few months after the transplant but they took care of that and said people usually have one. I would get on the list, if you get one stay on all meds and be careful not to miss many. I was diabetic also, why I got the pancreas also. Not on any diet now.
