I have been a chiropractor for over 20 years. I was a patient for 30 years before and have had back pain and left sicatic leg pain. Both are maintained with out surgery and medicaion.
I have a book of people that write about their experience with me and we are starting volume III. Interestingly I got an email this morning from a patient that wants a second opinion. She had her first visit with a Chiropractor two days ago. He took x-rays and said she has a very bad neck with a reversed curve. Said it would take 80 visits and $4500 to fix. Thats a scam. Real chiropractors get people out of pain and then maintain the spine for what their insurance pays. Just like other doctors.

I'm 24 & worked for 2 Chiros for a couple of years & came to learn that they weren't looking out for their patients best interests. The main doctor I have in mind would make us to double book patients (the more patients the more money) and call ones that hadn't been in to a point where it felt harassing. He rushed patients without listening to their concerns and I felt they always left with questions unanswered. I understand we all need to make money but when it comes to health I just wish he was a little more understanding and cared more about what he did and now how much he was making.
Now this sounds like a real useful question and one i'm keen to get a response to my answer.Right well 3 areas where i get reoccuring pain that can be wearing so any advice is very welcome.
Well start with what i reckon be the trickier one. It's in my stomach area,am sure it just muscle pain but it!s level with my navel n to my right, get pain there often.Next is where my neck n shoulders meet but maybe 1-2 inch at the back on both sides.Lastly is the base of my back level wi the top of my pelvis but on the outside half of my back both sides thou at times it's right between too.Anyway doc thats my troubles, any suggestions would be appreciated cos i thought it was just old age.lol
