A good testimony can be destroyed.

I have seen testimony destroyed by gossips. A good man who was heavy into drink but came to know the Lord and had no drink for years. One day he needed some change and went into a pup to ask for some. Two people from his church saw him and very soon told it around that he was back on the drink. This turned him from church and after some time he was back on the drink and was ruined. Alesson for us all. Never listen to or take part in gossip. God Bless Randy
Lots of "things" can be destroyed. But in the empirical sense, nothing unreal can be destroyed because it does not exist in the first place outside the mind. But that being said, if one person thinks of some "thing" but does not communicate the idea to another being, and then dies, that unreal thing no longer exists. In the book, "Thinking Like Einstein," the author suggests brainstorming techniques like disregarding a basic physical law and asking, "What If?" so as to create possibilities for further investigation. So for the sake of argument, lets pretend some "thing" could actually be destroyed at the molecular, atomic, and sub-atomic levels. In that case, what would the repercussions be for everything else?
In a closed universe where nothing could be destroyed or created, but was, that would indicate a rip in the fabric making up this universe which acts like a suction pulling everything else into it. This was the theory of Black Holes before further science investigations showed pulsating energy was emitted at the poles of Black Holes which seemed to indicate that the sucking of matter was being turned into energy at specific wavelengths that could be measured with instruments form Earth.
Current theories about gravity indicate gravity might be the ripping of our universe with another forming bonds on the sub-atomic level that "pulls mass into itself" and together in the aggregate sense. In a way we recognize this technique as gravitational pulls, who's pull is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the things. This dovetails nicely with Newton's 1686 book describing the gravitational Inverse Square Law and Einstein's theories on gravity, in both the Special and General.
But I also find the current argument similar to 16 and 17th century debates to the existence of whether gravity or magnetism is at the heart of the Sun's power, and whether comets drawn around the Sun did so because they were made of loadstone or just because of their mass and gravitational attractions between the two. But that is for another discussion. So for now, I'll leave the debate, and remind everyone you are just figments of my imagination and when I die, you will no longer exist. Happy trails. :-)

If you never copied and pasted most of this, you're a good writer, like Obama is a good speaker, but still lacks common sense thats like a kid that thinks when he closes his eyes everyone disappears, we won't and you won't you're soul will live on where is up to you. GOD Bless, Randy

Soul can be lost, consciousness taken away; the energy is simply recycled. For energy never fades or dies. The Soul is given many incarnations to find itself; to find its redemption in a forgiving, Loving Father, God. f it cannot or will not, the souls individual identity of the unredeemed soul is taken away. It simply desolved after many incarnations of error, iniquity and ignorance of its Father, God.
