It is so expensive to get buried now a days with a little casket costing over 5K and the purchase of the plot. And after 60 years or so no one will even remember you and no one will visit your final resting place. Any other alternatives welcomed and appreciated. So what is your thoughts?

*Creamated. My happiest memories is my childhood and I grew up playing outside and we allways camped on top of very very high Tian-Shian mountains and thats where I wish my ashes to be spread*

The Tian Shan are a part of the Himalayan orogenic belt which was formed by the collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates in the Cenozoic era. They are one of the longest mountain ranges in Central Asia, stretching some 2,800 kilometres (1,700 mi) eastward from Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
yes getting buried is expensive and i would prefer to be cremated but as with most people you still want somewhere for your loved one's to visit. I would like to be cremated then my ashes buried in a small plot, a bit of both!!

A friend of mine was cremated and buried like you want. I thought it good that the grave was dug with a post hole digger, Very small compared to a grave with a casket in it.
Its expensive being buried and if you cant afford to keep the plot you will be dug up and chucked away. Cremation seems the way to go, I didnt think I cared either way until my friend died and got cremated and I was devastated that his body was burned and couldnt equate him being in a small urn. I realised I couldnt cremate anyone close to me.
