Like it or not China and the United Sates need one another to survive and war between our two nations would be a disaster for BOTH countries.

I BOUGHT A SMALL HAND HELD FLAG FOR 4TH OF JULY LAST YEAR ON IT WAS STAMPED "MADE IN CHINA" IF THEY CALLED IN THEIR "NOTE' MEANING THE MONEY WE OWE THEM WERE ALL DONE . BUT I DONT SEE THAT HAPPENING , WE NEED EACH OTHER. I THINK THE REAL TREAT IS RUSSIA IF YOU THINK THE COOLD WAR IS OVER ITS NOT. THE TEMPERTURE IS TURNED A BIT !

China is building up their navy as we speak, it is very sophisticated and the technology is comparable to the U.S.. We are allies, but Russia has a better relationship with them than the U.S. does. We have to be careful what you buy in the store. If i see a product made in the U.S.A., even if it costs more than the one made in China, I will buy it. It's just there are very few things completely manufactured in the U.S. these days.

I have seen it reported and speculated that China will be the next super power in the world with such a huge economy, but it's tough to say. Russia may be the country to watch out for.?

It could be , but China could crumble surprisingly . USSR was a terrifying power then melted . China have some similar weak points , as ethnic and religious diverstity, a bureaucratic administration struggling to stay in power .
In an other hand , the great invasion come from there but stayed on the continent.
