No, generally speaking. How to look better in a photo.
I know what you meant, and I can't think of anything better than what ninnet said.
I have very few good photos of myself and those I have were all taken when I had my attention on something else. The more I try to relax, the worse I look.
I have one friend of whom I have NEVER seen a bad photo, whether or not she was aware of it being taken. She seems to be completely unselfconcious.
