I almost died when I was a newborn because of my allergy to milk, the only milk I could drink was soy milk. If I had been allergic to that I would have died as a newborn.

my son was involved in a serious rta a couple of years ago.His van was a total front end write off,in theory he should never have survived it but he walked away with just bruisin to his chest. I believed at the time and still do that my late father was watching over him. NOTHING will convince me otherwise

I was 18 or 19 when my brother and me took my dad’s 53 Lincoln to see a basketball game.
As we were ready to leave Steve and Bob ask if they could ride home with us.
On the way back home Steve said let’s see what this thing can do.
I thought, don’t say that to my brother as I knew what it would do 120+ and he would do it.
Now I was the passenger with no control and I knew how Bob felt. As the speed went up 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, I became concerned.
Well, that was as far as the speedometer would go but now the hand had passed the 120 mark and was still climbing as we were going down hill.
There was a slight turn to the right at the bottom of the hill but at 120+ any turn is a risk, but there was a car going into the turn in front of us.
Was he going to slow down or was he going to try to pass in the turn, I became more concerned, you could see nothing was coming the other way so there we went into the passing lane and around the car.
As he tried to go around the turn and the car at the same time we got around the car but we were going into a right hand side at over 100 Mph as he fought to get control we went the other way still going sideways. I remember my door coming open and I grabbed the dash and the door and pulled it closed and held on. As I looked up to see where we were I saw the guardrail right in front of us. I closed my eyes and held on.
A lot of noise and bouncing followed, I was sure we went through the guardrail and were rolling over the bank and I was expecting to land in the creek below.
But the car ended up on its wheels in the middle of the road, I learned later that the guardrail threw us back on the road and the car went end over end three times before coming to a stop on its wheels.
I opened my eyes I was the only one in the car, I tried to open my door, but it would not budge. I went out the driver side door and yelled “are you guy's all right” , expecting to find them dead or badly hurt on the road. I’m sure mom was still praying for us, No one was hurt, as they where all walking around looking for their glasses and they all found them and I don’t think they were even broken. You think God wasn’t watching out for us. Four people in the car, losing control at 120+Mph car going end over end three times, three thrown out and no one hurt, Once again, thank God.

Sharing a survival story about my 23 year old son.
A couple of years ago he was at his older brother's house visiting. Was going to go home, clean up and head for one of the casinos around here. He got stopped for some bogus reason by a sheriff on his way to the casino. When the deputy took his ID (he can't get a license in this state because of issues in another state....DMV hold), my son decided the smartest thing for him to do would be to drive off. Thus ensued a wild chase in excess of 100 MPH that included clipping a fence and eventually flying off the road into a vineyard. A 4 x 4 grape post went through the windshield, right where the driver's face would be, and another went through the grate and lodge under the hood of the FJ Cruiser. My son SHOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED BY THE GRAPE STAKE, but it barely knicked his shoulder. The one that went through the grate missed EVERYTHING and lodged in the back wall under the hood). Damage: $23,000.
He jumped out of the vehicle and ran. He was being pursued by deputies, deputy dogs, and a deputy helicopter. He took off his shoes and used them to dig into one of the furrows, laid down in it and covered himself with dirt.
No one found him. (He turned himself in a few days later....)
I was talking with the eldest about it one day not long after and he said, "You know, Mom, I don't pray very often, but when XXXX left the house that night, I prayed that he would be safe."
"Do you think God answered your prayers?" was my response.
"NO!"
"I have to disagree. You prayed for him to be safe. You didn't pray for him to be smart."
