Sounds like grandma's gotten one too many tickets if she lost her license over a failure to yield. Might be a good thing.

I am reading 'yelp' if what you mean is 'Yield' then yes, its against the law regardless if it was a police car or citizen's car. Yield does not mean stop but it does mean allow traffic passing in front of that intersection the 'right of way'.. Pulling out in front of them is illegal. If this is what 'she didn't yelp' means (yield) then she deserves the ticket. Although losing her license for this is a bit steep unless she has prior citations.

if the police car is traveillng at 60mph and tour grandma was travelling at 120mph i would say it is!

I,m not that far from a trooper barrack and they must be half asleep when coming on duty, they drive soooo slow, I pass them all the time when legal to do so.

Back from Daddy duty at my daughters, fitted range hood (exhaust fan) ceramic cook top, wall oven, laundry tubs, adjusted and corrected 5 venetian blinds, fitted new automatic door closer plus sundry other jobs.
