      The cause of kleptomania is unknown, although it may have a genetic component and may be transmitted among first-degree relatives. There also seems to be a strong propensity for kleptomania to coexist with obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia nervosa, and clinical depression.

          it's when u steal and u don't know why........

          maybe it is a disease. Everything else is in this drug addicted world , if u stay up late at night and listen to all the commercials u just might find a drug that can cure u.

              If a person cannot stop himself/herself from stealing, perhaps it is a form of obsessive compulsive disorder.
