    How can you keep a loaf of bread fresh without refrigerating it?

    The earthenware is a good idea. I f you don't have one, wrap the bread in paper and keep it in a plastic container.

    Keep it in an earthenwear pot in a cool place and wrapped in clingfilm

    Freezing it will prolong it, but for you, that is just another form of refrigeration, perhaps.
    Keeping it in an airtight container may help, since it will slow down the decomposition of the bread.
    Consider using one of those plastic bag devices that employ a suction device to remove all air from the package. Our grocery stores carry these devices.
