got an ache in my right shoulder-blade and down right arm. could it be caused by carrying heavy load? I am a fit ..but elderly person.
it is NOT causing me sleepness nights. Seems to be hopefully improving but then as soon as I start doing small household jobs it flares up again.

I have the same thing at times...there is a name for it but it's not coming to me right now...bersitis...thats it. The best thing you can do for it is ice the shoulder and take an anti inflammatory. It is caused from over working the arm and shoulder joint. The last flair up I had was pulling weeds all day...doesn't take much. For maintenance in the future , you can use light weights to build up the supporting muscles in the shoulder area.
