Why are racists and other bigots on this website allowed to post the most vile questions, answers, and comments but when you respond to them you have karma points taken away from you and they hide your comments? I think that this is blatantly unfair and amounts to a form of censorship.

<a href="/users/3639/ms-sinclair/">@Ms Sinclair</a>, I agree with you 100% sometime when I first came to this site there were some abusive comments that really got to me. Until someone said to me,"Don't let them get to you." It's just a website and you have ignorant people or people just wanting to get a rise out of you. So I hope this advise will help you as well as it did me. Don't let it get your blood pressure up, sometimes it's best to ignore the ignorance than to answer it. If you see a question you know will bother you, stay away from it not matter how tempting it might be. Good luck to you, you seem like a really nice, intelligent person.

I know how you feel.. I called someone an ugly thing last week... I felt so bad about it... But IT WAS SO TRUE!
Thank you leeroy. I appreciate your kind words, but sometimes it's difficult not to comment because people will think that no one disagrees with the bigots and that their remarks are ok.
I remember that Jenn, IT WAS TRUE. Leeroy I give you a thumbs up for your comment, you're right, just ignore the ignorant people and don't give them the satisfaction to think they're getting to you. I still have one on this site that think he's getting to me BUT HE'S NOT, you know who you are, YOU ARE JUST WASTING YOUR TIME!!. Ms Sinclair DON'T let them get to you, I know it's hard, but just ignore them.
Thanks guys, yeah spaceghost I saw the conversations you're talking about, sometimes it's just they way we're raised or by whom. If you don't have friends of another race we need to go out there and get some. Most people who are ignorant are also isolated to hanging out with one group of people. There are good and bad in every group. Don't let the mental midgets get to you!!!

Type in "jokes has anybody got a good one" in the search bar. Look up TSC's "jokes" and the website he leaves there. Then you'll see what I'm talking about when I call someone a bigot. I already know the definition of the word. And if it's supposed to be an exchange of ideas, why are people hiding my remarks in the comments section? That amounts to censorship.

I think it's called trolling (their trolls), they know it's wrong, they want to get a rise out of you (someone) and when they do they can reel you in more with a down vote . I think the best responce is no responce, at some point they get bored and move on. As far as the site I think they think it's a free country (it's not) and everyone is intitle to an opinion, you don't have to agree and can vote them down (with Karma points) and that maybe the reason you get points taken for a vote down (Karma is supposed to be a positive thing). If you hate their answer, question or opinion (their someone too) your a hater and that's not good karma. I hope this helps you understand the psychology of these things the way I see it. It's sometimes hard to express things from a keyboard when you type with two fingers.

I like my black family better than my white family. Blacks know how to have fun and let loose :D
You have to know the street I live on, lol. Most of the people on the street have been here for 40 years or more, some having inherited their houses from their parents. Having just bought my house here 15 years ago, I'm still considered the "new" one. My neighbor across the street saw me planting one day and came over to check the plants I had bought to make sure they wouldn't clash with hers. Yeah, it's like that. So yup, no fun white people here.
I have black, phillapino, mexicain and white nieces and nephews. But mostly we are all just a bunch of nuts.
I don't hate white people as a group. I just dislike the stupid/ignorant/backward ones who make racist remarks. I give plenty of thumbs up when I feel that it's appropriate. When I give thumbs down it's not because of hatred. It's because I find their comments offensive.
My family is just a melting pot of races. I'm Black,American Indian and a small part Rican, My wife is Black and American Indian. We have White,Black, Japanese, Phillipino and Latino in my family. WE ALL get along, the way it should be. We ALL are part of the HUMAN RACE, we SHOULD NOT see color, WE are ALL brothers and sisters and we ALL BLEED red. LETS ALL get along. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Having said that, take into account that this is an open Q&A site so it might be sometimes hard to determine where the border lies in terms of being offensive.

Content of material posted can reflect the person's view point of others. I have to agree with her. There are some bigoted remarks posted on this forum. I look past them because I understand the mentality of a person like that all too well having dealt with bigoted comments being hurled at me throughout my lifetime. People who defend bigots should ask themselves, why? Do they find pleasure in seeing others hurt and degraded? There's a name for that.
Of course you're entitled to your opinion, as am I. She's not calling everyone a bigot. I've notice some people are rather free with the word "everyone" here, but I digress, I'm not looking to argue either. I just wanted to share my opinion of your comment. Sorry if you didn't like the response. Peace.
I have every right to call someone a bigot if they continually make racist, and other types of prejudicial comments. I know who I am. And I know who they are. One of them posted an address to a white supremacist website. And Colleen is right. I am NOT talking about everyone, just a few idiots. I am not obsessed with them either. Quite the contrary. One of them seems to be obsessed with me, as he keeps stalking me on this site wherever I go. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he turns up here eventually.
i am not a bigot neither am i defending bigoted remarks,but Ms sinclair in my opinion is getting rather obsessed with this word so she is going to get some response back that she does not like,she calls everyone a bigot maybe she needs to take a closer look at herself!
