    Can the authorities take from me the house my mother has left me on her wll to pay for health care she received?

    Yes. All accounts of the estate must be settled if there was no money left to provide for payments of debts owed. The house can be sold and you will receive whatever is left after the debts are settled. All this will be handled by the probate court.
    Yes this is true,probate court handles it all,this just happened to a neighbor of mine,he lost his home due to foreclosure,so he moved around the corner into his deceased moms house,although she left a will she had incurred a large debt due to medical costs,he has to move out because they are going to take the house to pay for the incurred medical charges left behind.
    NO THEY CAN NOT ANYTHING THAT IS LEFT FOR YOU IN A WILL NOBODY CAN TAKE FROM YOU.... HER HEALTH CARE PROVIDER WELL TAKE CARE OF THE COST THAT SHE HAD AND WHAT THEY DONT COVER IS IN THE WIND YOU CAN NOT COLLECT FROM THE DECEASED
