Clarify your statement. Are you having automatic payments drawn from your account for a specific reason? If so, change credit card numbers and advise IN WRITING the credit card company that those charges are to be reversed. It must be in writing otherwise the CC phone employee will pass the buck and it won't happen.
The sure way is to close the account and reopen under a new card and card number because when you give approval for automatic transactions it is sometimes a done deal forever. So call your credit card company and tell them you want to close your current card out and get a new card and they should transfer all your available credit to your new card as well as your correct charge card balance.
