I think it is it may not be but that and Mac Protector i had a heck of a time getting deleted. The only anti-virus I have found to be of use free is Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac. I got the free version downloaded and it seems to help and work fine. They do every once in a while want me to upgrade to a version that costs money but I do not. Hope this helps.
