As do I yours V. You're a very angry and self centered person. You would judge others because they do not do as you do. Too bad. If we were not meant to eat meat, we would not be able to digest it and our bodies would not derive any nutrients/vitamins from it. Man made vitamins are no good for you. The body does not know how to break them down properly and use them. The best way to get vitamins is to get them naturally.
Oh and you're arrogant too....were you perchance looking in the mirror when you typed out all those words meant to insult?

We were taught to respect all animals. Whether they be for food or for pets. They were treated equally. You're a believer in the bible. Even God (O.T.) said some animals were meant to be food. He even gave a list of animals that could be eaten and a list of animals that should not be eaten and even mentioned the animals that would be used as beasts of burden. So if one (not saying you here) tells me I'm wrong for eating meat and they believe in God, then they are telling God he was wrong for ever telling us which animals we could use as food for ourselves. The bible believer then contradicts the God they believe in.
Hi I'm Doctor Doolittle- you can call me Doc. I am assuming you are from the US- if not bear with me and keep in mind I am thinking of US practices.
First of all, It should be extremely obvious that I love animals- ALOT!!! And I think it's awful how some animals are raised-horrid conditions! and the slaughter houses look scarry.
Now then, lets 'talk'. If we allowed every animal that is alive and being raised for food to live out their lives and reproduce we would have a huge problem on our hands. Shortly, the cattle, chickens, sheep, and pigs would run out of space. Then they would undergo hunger and hunting to 'thin the heards'. The hunters could take their kill home to eat. And, my very educated guess, is we would loose a portion of our crops to wandering animals- which would be a HUGE problem as all of us would be consuming more beans and nuts along with certain veggies to get enough protien in our diets. And we already over-fish so we would quickly deplete the waters of popular fish creating chaos and a new eco-system in the seas around the world. (could we have dairy farms?).
When we supply the world's hungry with fod we send over powdered milk, soup, and water to reconstitute both. The diet is high in protein and easy to digest. When you are truly starving nuts and beans won't work...they are hard to digest...and that can actually kill people because your entire digestive tract and the enzymes and acids has changed and complex digestion is impossible. Plus, these folks need animal fats and protein to survive!
Yelling at people who like to eat meat doesn't work. If they are going to kill cows anyway shouldn't we follow the Native American thinking and use as much of the animal as possible (leather)??
My advice to you is to study the Big companies who raise and slaughter the animals. What is a better way? Think about it...come up with a solution and many people will sign a petition (no one likes the idea of overcrowding animals and having them live horrible lives. Be the One to Change this! (It worked at the Pedue chicken plants with regards to what they were feeding the chicken!)
Keep me posted. I'll sign a petition that has a reasonable alternative to what is going on now.

I eat everything on my plate and sometimes I eat the plate too. I encountered a vegetarian as a child and offered him a bacon and peanut butter sandwich. He asked if there was meat in bacon but I didn’t know what he was talking about so I said no. His concept of meat was unlike anything I had seen before so I didn’t understand his question or what he meant. When he learned what bacon is he was very upset with me, I didn’t know anyone could be so odd. I was about 5 at the time. Now I know about the various religious groups that don’t eat meat. It hasn’t influenced my diet whatsoever. I eat just about anything anyone else in the world eats and its too late for me to slow the slaughter of chickens and cattle and swine. Burp!

Maybe you will read this maybe not . I am thinking of Richard Dryfus who had a terminal illness and wished to die . He argued his case before the courts to be granted death . This was a very compelling movie. Point being you are impassioned with your argument ,convinced in its validity. Now take it to the next level be more eloquent . Stopping meat eaters completely is unlikely so why not try for those who eat meat to eat vegetarian several times a week this is gaining ground . Then try to improve the inhumane conditions for the animals . Then do some research into health outcomes for meat eaters over a life time . You have a good heart so I am offering only improve your argument as feed back .You are correct we all could do better as stewards of this planet .
