      How old is she? Was this her first litter? She may not be old enough to understand what a pup is. Not all animals are cut out for parenthood.

        Well, the dog may have felt threatened. Cats do that sometimes. You can't blame the animal.

          i'm sorry that happened to you (and her) i think colleen gave you some excellent answers. i think it would be for the best if she was spayed so that she didn't have pups again. will you be able to accept her after what she did? be well.
