    What does DSL mean? How is it different from Cable?

    DSL means Digital Subscriber Line. Connecting to the internet via DSL means you are using the telephone lines. Connecting to the internet via cable, means you are using the cable lines (TV power lines) to connect. DSL was a wide-spread method used before Cable.
    DSL operates at a speed nearly 20 times faster.
