Depends... 2000 calories and your an olympic athelete or 2000 calories and you sit on the couch all day.... people will maintain their weight if they burn off what they consume daily regardless if it is 2000 calories or 3000 calories, It's simple math.. burn off what you take in and you will maintain your weight. consume less calories and work out more and you will lose weight. also depends on alot of other things such as metabolic rate, thyroid function ect.
