    Are part timeworkers entitled to pay or time off in leiu if a normal day off falls on a Briitish bank holiday

    Sorry it's taken so long to answer this question. I'm not from the UK and it probably isn't the same there as here in the States. If a part time worker gets a holiday here, it would be at the same rate of pay as a regular part time day. If the bank holiday was on a normal work day, the normal work day was a 4 hour day, the holiday pay would be for 4 hours only. If the holiday was on a regular day off for the part time worker they would receive no compensation.
