believe it or not, there was a family friend who their seven year old boy just witnessed the death of his only cat that's been with him for a long time, so he started crying so much for it and wouldn't accept any other, so his parents told him he will see the cat in heaven, and it will be with him again and blah blah,
the boy took it seriously and jumped off a bridge in iran to meet his cat in heaven,
so to anyone out there, when you explain heaven, make sure you do it right, you never know what a kid's brain thinks about

Thats sad, but if this child was not to the age of accountability he will be with his cat.
Do Dogs (and Cats) Go To Heaven?
For those of you who have come to this page because you have recently lost a dearly beloved dog (or cat) let me express my deepest sympathies over the loss of your dear friend. I have lost several special pets and understand the terrible sadness such an experience can bring. (Please visit the Memorials section of The Three M's' Cat Page and A Celebration of Life: His Royal Oranginess King Marmalade.)
While the Bible doesn't directly tell us whether or not pets will go to heaven, it does tell us that "all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). What God has planned for us in heaven is wonderful beyond our understanding! It will be as wonderful as the scene described in "The Rainbow Bridge" poem. (You may wish to start your journey into this topic by reading this poem if you have not seen it before.)
For more detailed information, take a look at an article called, "Do Pets Go to Heaven?" (Includes lots of places for you to look in the Bible about heaven and animals.)

I WOULD NOT GO TO A HEAVEN THAT DID NOT HAVE DOGS, FULL STOP. I WAS TOLD THAT WHEN A DOG DIES IT GOES TO "THE RAINBOW SHORE" AND WHEN A DOG LOVER,SUCH AS I, YOU GO TO THE RAINBOW SHORE AND SPEND ETERNITY WITH EVERY DOG YOU HAVE EVER OWNED AND LOVED.
NOW IF THAT DOESNT BEAT THE HELL OUT OF HARPS AND ANGELS I DON
T KNOW WHAT WOULD.
HOPE THERE ARE LOTS OF POO BAGS, I HAVE LOVED A LOT OF DOGS, NOT IN A BIBLICAL SENSE THOUGH.

of course you will all things God made is in heaven in spirit form like Noah and the Ark. He didn't leave the animals behind. God is a spirit and humans are both (physical and spirit) When we die we leave our physical body, the same with animals. I saw two of my cats hanging around after death for a little while. I had a cancer patient that died and came back and said their was no flower on earth as beautiful as the ones in heaven!
