      A nice smile and a good sense of humour are tops among my first impressions when I  meet a person for the first time.  I also like someone who can laugh at himself/herself instead of taking things so seriously.

        Make eye contact, smile, and give me a firm hand shake. Then, I'll be interested in further communication. Make me laugh and then we can talk some more. How about yourself?

          My answer is the same as Quacker..a firm handshake while looking eye to eye,,however as far as sheila's are concerned i am not a hugger but i do shake their hand and i do have problems applying the right amount of pressure ..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..Image result for man shakes women hand photos
