( you ) I was in an upscale supermarket near home, and they sell hot soup; you just help yourself, scoop it into a container. They also have 2 ounce cups for sampling. A woman saw me taking a sample and offered to buy me a container of soup. It took awhile before it "hit me". I figured that she thought I was poor and that she wanted to be charitable. I didn't think about that being a "pick-up line". I've heard of "Can I buy you a drink?", but never, "Can I buy you some soup?" LOL!

My ex-husband and I were on a bike tour from Texas to Colorado We stopped for a break from riding at the Mesa Verde National Park. I was standing by myself looking over a cliff with a view when a man walked up behind me and whispered in my ear, " I know what you did".
I have no idea who this person was or what he meant. I don't know if he was joking around, or if he thought I was someone he thought he recognized from town or what, but he "creeped me out". :))

I don't remember where my husband was at the time. We had only been there a few minutes so he may have been in the restroom or at the service desk gathering information about the park.
But apart from that, that bloke sounds like a weirdo.
Given the feature set the lack of a traditional sport format like a diver pilot's watch chronograph etc. I could also see the Fiftysix appealing to someone who link has an appreciation for time-and-date Grand Seikos. Again in the link less-dressy sense so think SBGH277 rather than SBGW251.
