I've tried my hand at an herb garden and some of the herbs did grow.

I've never planted a vegetable garden but I think I would like to grow cucumbers to make homemade dill pickles, jalapeno or serrano peppers,  and tomatoes.

When I had a vegetable garden, I loved green beans and tomatoes. I was just looking at a potted tomato plant yesterday and thinking about buying it. Our spring has been so cold though, I might not have time for the tomatoes to grow.    :)

Too much of a nuisance. I did that one year and for the number of ripe tomatoes I got, it just wasn't worth it.

We have herbs,mandarins ,lemons and limes on our balcony,and downstairs i have a passionfruit vine..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

I don't  know about this year. Hasn't stopped raining enough to get one started. Once it does stop then it's time to get in the fields, as long as it's not to late.
