I guess you have been to your Quack Quacker,,what was the result pray tell..>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<
I've been put on medication which might be helping a little. Still don't know what's causing it.....3 weeks now. Waiting....waiting...waiting. I have to go back in a couple of weeks. Thanks for asking.
What was the medication they put you on Quacker,?????..if you wish to say..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
UPDATE: Finally, after weeks of feeling horrible, I'm on the road to recovery. I drove today for the first time in over 6 weeks. Nurse Practitioner gave me medication...made it worse. N.P. then added a second medication, made it even worse! After 5 weeks, I went to a Physiotherapist who did a manoever with my head and bingo.....fixed! I just need to do some exercises (very easy ones) to re-train my brain. Apparently, the brain tries to compensate for your lack of balance and it just needs to learn the proper position again. Yay!!!
I've also learned that everyone with dizziness, light headedness, a feeling of being off balance, will refer to it as vertigo. It is not. Vertigo can be seen in the eyes....the eyes bounce up and down and in most cases, true vertigo causes dry heaves/vomiting. Wow, who knew?
Many thanks to all who expressed concern. I appreciated that along with your prayers!

Thanks Ben. That will be happening next week. I'm hoping it's just an inner ear infection which is fairly common. :(
Yep,i had nearly a week off work, inner ear unbalance,VERTIGO..i had to simply lie on my side,if i sat up i would throw up,if i stood up i would fall over..Doc gave me an injection and said i just had to ride it out,,but until i rode it out,it was not a lot of fun..hang in there Quacker, there is a light at the end of the tunnel..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Thanks Terry. I was walking into walls and spinning when lying down. Yikes!! I have a real aversion to going to visit health care providers but I'm actually looking forward to it this time. :(
When I had it, my doctor diagnosed it as high blood pressure, he gave me extra tablets, and it stopped.
