When I first became entitled to vote, when I was 18 years old, if you don't vote you shouldn't complain about government decisions, if you do vote you are entitled to complain but they still don't hear you.

March 23, 1971 is when the 26th Amendment was passed and lowered the voting age from 21 to 18. If I first voted for POTUS in 1972 (which I'm sure i did), I was 20.
