My hair used to be straight as a board so I used an iron to curl it. As I age, my hair tends to have a lot more body.

My hair is straight as sticks too. So was my mom's..........much to our consternation . My dad's hair had a lot of body and some wave, and so does my brothers. I've heard that in both black and white families, the boys get the good hair and the girls get the bad hair.

Nada. I have a very slight wave in my hair and I’m happy with that. Funny story, I tried curling my hair once using a round brush and hair dryer. Long story short the brush became tangled and it took a full hour to get it out of my hair, taking gobs and gobs of hair with it. My ponytail is half the size it was before I attempted such a chore. Never again....

that happened to me twice. The first time, I went to the nursing home where I worked and asked the M N nurse to untangle it from the round brush . And the next time, I went to the old lady next door. She had a good laugh.

While I have a set of hot rollers, I rarely use it, or a blow dryer, for that matter. My hair is dry and those things don't help.

Haha...no, I just use a pick to untangle it and go. It's a simple pageboy....bangs, no layers, past my shoulders. I could probably just towel dry it and go. My hair is straight as a ruler, but known to frizz.
