Never in a million years will I pay to see or listen to that, I did enjoy the little ditty from Malcolm in the middle, though it's not quite barbershop.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oqKVkZTQ80

I've enjoyed listening to the Barbershop (quartet) groups on tv. I'm not sure if I would stay interested enough to listen to an entire concert. I certainly wouldn't mind attending a concert and I may be the audience member shouting for an encore. :))

So glad you went and had a good time. Memories and humming without realizing you’re doing it. And the good feeling last for days. I’m going to see John Prine on June 30th. No one seems to know him but I like him. Now, to the barbershop music. Shudder. Before I started my current meds I heard things. Not voices but rather I heard music. Like a radio was playing close to me. Or I hear music I didn’t care for or was familiar with. Barbershop music being the most common occurrence. I don’t care for it at all. Or I’d hear the blues in a jazzy mode. I don’t care for jazz. In the bathroom the theme song for JEOPARDY would play, stopping only if I left the room.....

I love the close 4-part harmony . That's the kind of harmony the Beach Boys and the Beatles used to do on some of their songs....and the other pop quartets in the 50s and 60s.- - - like " The Brothers Four",The Four Freshmen, The Mills Bros. the Four Seasons.
My brother used to sing in Barbershop Quartets, when his kids were little. But now he's on to bigger and better things.......like going from state to state to visit his grandchildren.
