Many, and always an offer to sell something and make tons of money with very little work. (Uh huh.) One invitation however, was supposedly about "free vacations". Wow! All I had to do was give a down payment on a time share property....today....right now. Very overly aggressive sales people. The sales rep actually got angry when I finally said, "I don't plan to give you a check today for any amount of money, let alone the $10,000.00 that you say you need". He raised his voice and said something like, "What is wrong with you that you don't recognize an opportunity when you see one"? I told him that I check out "all opportunities" on the internet first and he walked away in a huff. LOL!!

Yes, lots of them. Most of them involved dinners at nice restaurants. One was in my neighborhood, a classy Northern Italian restaurant. Nice salad with pomegranate seeds, Dover Sole with vegetable and potato, Napolean and coffee/tea. It would've cost over $30 if I had to pay. Of course, they make you listen to the presentation first; the meal comes after. If it was, vice-versa, a lot of people would bail out after the food. I have an otherwise expensive meal coming up soon at Morton's soon. https://www.google.com/search?q=mortons+steakhouse&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1-ab
