Never been sued, never sued anyone. I did have a tenant that I could have sued but the lawyer fees would have been more than the settlement. Besides, bad tenants don't pay anything! They just disappear.

I sued two former tenants. The first had allowed her male dogs to urinate on the falls, which dribble between the wall and baseboard. The house reeked. The tenant said my dog, who was an outside dog his whole life, was the culprit. I lost the case, and shortly after, the husband died in an accident. :>(
Another tenant was sued for nonpayment of rent and eviction. I needed a handwriting expert to testify that an ignorant letter was NOT signed by me. (It was poorly composed, full of spelling and grammatical errors. No one who knows me would believe I wrote it). I was awarded several thousand dollars, none of which was paid, AND the #_@×& stole my very expensive stove.

I wanted to sue the APD but know nothin about suing and finding a lawyer. When I had my wreck they made me do a field sobriety test in front of god and everybody. Arrested me, not caring that David was alone in his wheelchair. They wouldn’t let me let David know. They took me downtown, made me dress down, threw away my lighter collection... made me breath (clean) and made me bleed (clean) and studied me like I was a bug and finally had to take me home at 1:30 in the morning. Never apologized, not even kind of.... (they were pissed that I was stone cold sober.... oh, the APD had to pay for my car being impounded. Or what was left of it). So, could I have sued?

I had to sue employers twice for wages due to broken contracts... one where the hotel I was booked in burnt down ... had a heck of a time finding the place LOL It was gone! But a contract is a contract so I called a cop and he escorted me to pick up my cash [not check] which actually worked! lmho I guess that doesn't count as sueing but hey I would have if the copper hadn't intimidated them into paying by saying 'better pay up or she'll sue your asses!' LOL
Then another time I was awaaaaay up in Inuvik with another week to go on a month long contract when lo and behold some famous country singer showed up out of nowhere [google Inuvik] and suddenly my contract was null and void LOL
Soooo I was astonished when they refused to pay that last weeks' wages which were quite substantial [again google Inuvik NWT] and then they approached me to purchase my sound system because their 'star' didn't have one with him and they needed a house system ... well I had just purchased the one I had, an 8 track board with yamaha stacks, quite nice for the price I paid of 1200 bucks so I turned around and sold it to the hotel for a smooth 5500 bucks LMHO
When I got back down south I sued them for twice what they owed me and won my wages doubled! LOL CONTRACTS are awesome things!

I called some lawyers to sue the doctor that caused my husband's death.None of them wanted to take my case. Finally one of them clued me in as to why ........he said, " attorneys don't like to take malpractice suits unless it's a very cut and dried case.......like the doctor cut off the wrong leg !! ( no pun intended ) ........because they don't want to do the work.....like the research ......looking at all the patient's records and interviewing lots of hospital personnel....nurses and aids and lab people and other doctors, etc.
