When you were in H.S., did the guys ask out girls who wear glasses. They did not in my H.S.....but maybe boys are more enlightened now.

I asked my niece this in the 90s, when she was in H.S. She said she never noticed, but that she saw some glasses that were very attractive. She did not wear glasses.

cute. I got contact lens as soon as the ink was dry on my graduation diploma, using the money people gave me for graduation. My parents wouldn't get me contact lens, b/c they didn't want me to be happy

I had dates in high school and had been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old. Guys wore glasses too. I used to hear the occasional "Four Eyes" but I don't think glasses have anything to do with whether or not people get asked out. Personality seems to count for something.

My first girlfriend in high school wore glasses, didn't seem to bother most folk here, some kids could be cruel though, but they were the so called cool ones or "bullies", not my type of friends.
