    If so and the ship capsizes the tables could be used as little islands while you await rescue or drowning.

    let's hope so. just kidding I've never been on a cruise. however my brother and sister love cruises and never mentioned tables sliding.

    I've been on a week long cruise, but I never thought to look to see if everything is fastened down. But my dad had an old large, thick , heavy milk pitcher from an ocean liner. He said it was heavy to keep it from sliding across the table.
