How do you like your pasta, "al dente" (firm) or softer? What, if anything, do you like it with?

Al dente with anything that has a sauce to the recipe, unfortunately, "someone" in our home ain't too fussy for pasta, however, I get by.

I like it al dente with my homemade tomato sauce and meatballs.....gluten free, dairy free and delicious!

I have white dishes too!   :)

Tagleatelle with mushroom and cream sauce is my favourite. Gorgeous.

"Just eat this and be quiet"!!! lol

not too soft. as Benthere suggested, I like what ever the cook is cooking.

Just past al dente. I like a garlic, butter, wine sauce with sauteed mushrooms, onions, peppers, squash, and shrimp and scallops.

my late husb, being Italian / American, liked his Al Dente'  . So do I.

BTW, Al dente,in Italian,  literally means, " to the bite "

I prefer my pasta cooked Al Dente or slightly softer.  I do not like overcooked pasta.
