Call me crazy but I think he put his daughter in great danger! They were lucky this time. No matter how 'cute', this is very irresponsible behavior by a father.

What a lovely story.  I almost cried. :))

Always  remember the animal world and the human world is very separate..they can be good friends but only while the human is the boss,,an animal lives by the rules of the wild which are unwritten, against the rules of the humans which are written in law..something to remember,Humans eat some animals, and some animals eat humans..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..

Reminds me of the late Dian Fossey, gorillas are cool, still endangered because of stupid humans.

Wow! This was a great film. What a sweet story.

You wouldn't be worried about how a wild animal might react to your child as in, maybe tear her apart with his claws? This could be caused by fear on the part of the wild animal. (Somehow, your answer just doesn't sound like sensible you.)

My granddaughter was attacked by my sister's dog about a year ago, unprovoked. We are on pins and needles when the kids are around MY dog. People, too, are unpredictable. We just had a guy shoot 3 strangers, just because they were white.
There was something hugely benevolent in that reunion, though.

Unpredictable pet dogs....unpredictable people...yes....AND unpredictable wild animals. I still see this situation as putting a child in an OBVIOUSLY high risk situation and filming it for all to see. Ego!
    Bob/PKB

Ego, certainly. The girl looked old enough to decline, though.

I was never free to "decline" my parents "suggestions".

Seriously doubt Dad insisted on this, but I wasn't there.

I guess I just assumed that a parent was present. You may be right.

Ducky, I mean, literally, I wasn't there. The young woman's father was there! Who knows if the girl was coerced or volunteered; not me.

It's a wonderful thing to see, especially when there is so much hate going on in the world. The look on their faces was lovely.

Took a while to get to the point but you've actually posted something sweet......

    Clonge

I've posted so many sweet things about YOU before, but you get so many, they probably "got lost in the crowd".

Referring to me as empty headed negates a great deal of your sweetness.....
    Clonge

I don't recall ever doing that.

    .would you buy a book?
