....why argue, after 44 years ?

Last week.  I research too much and to the Nth degree.  I need to allow people catch up. In my head it's , "What? You don't know that?" ... In reality, Of course they don't know that.  Why would they?  My fault entirely. 

I say occasionally that the blunder was mine......to a story clerk or an insurance rep and I apologize. That happened just today. 

When I realize I caused, or exacerbated a problem, I apologize. The last time would be 5 days ago for something from 2 weeks before that. I could have responded to an affront differently.
