Aussie money used to be like yours JH,we started the polymer notes around 1970 or so,,and yes,before polymer notes ours were called "rag notes". and yes we invented the polymer notes.today the polymer note is in 22 countries worldwide..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

thx for the tip, Terry . I don't know what USD is made out of, but when I was kid, about 100 years ago, they said it was made out of rags. Aussie currency is beautiful. First time I've ever seen it. Isn't polymer a type of plastic ?
