        Traditionally, heavy cleaning, or more intensive cleaning  is   done in the Spring.

          Don't wash your windows when the sun is shining, it makes the smears show more.

            You are right nondeplume, sunshine dries the dirt and cleaner too fast! It's much better to clean windows on a cloudy day!
