What to do for a very jealous cat?

So we get the wee little kitty and YenYang won't speak with us, complete with dirty looks. Mickey just looks confused.  They both stay outside,  even on the coldest nights. What to do?

Are they Really that mad! Put them to sleep or take the time to show them love and train them. They are at your beck and call, not theirs, Julie.

Don't shame me into believing what's best for my babies. I don't want them to go back to feral. They were here first. In time maybe they'll come around. I shouldn't be such a nay sayer. The kitten did nearly break my arm but she's not to be given up on either. I just wanted some trick advise to bringing peace. I AM at their beck and call......
