    Get a supply of boxes and bags. Pick a room. Box or bag your "junk" carefully if you plan to donate to a thrift store.


    If you can call for pick up of junk - either as donations or garbage, do so, especially big items.


    We have a chance to put all assortment of junk out for pickup once a year, from couches and appliances to broken toys and garden trimmings. 


    Or, yard sale if your junk might fetch a reasonable price.

    good tip. I'll try to let go of things that aren't connected to my late husband, or my parents. :-) I have a clutter problem.
