"Cautiously"? Do you believe that Trump will do all that he has promised/threatened? Most politicians don't, once they are elected.
@ Duck,,"most politicians don't"..you are right,but Trump is not a politician..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
Okay Terry. "Mr.Trump"'s decisions will greatly affect Canada, since we are right next door. Canadians always await nervously, when the U.S. elects a new "leader".
Duck,Aussie is a hell of a lot further away from USA than Canada, and i do not know why,but when America sneezes we feel it way down here..after all America only want Aussie as a military safety net for it's back door..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
In the political world, people, do you not believe everyone jockeys to serve himself? Is there any country that actually benefits from ties to the US? Canada? Australia? Who, and how??
Not surprised at all! the low to middle income earners have been utterly shafted since the 80s. I am no Trump fan at all and Clinton is just as bad. From a country of about 240,000,000 eligible voters these two despicable people became the only options for potus??? people have been in an apathetic torpor for at least 40 years. Well you have 4 to 8 years to get a system that works for everybody, and not just those that have it all and then some. i just hope its akin to birthing pain rather than a death throe......

With a supportive Congress to go with programs that promote American values of Self-sufficiency and less government intrusion, it could be spectacular. I'm looking to relocate out of Californication.
Bob/PKB: You and I each live in a state where our vote doesn't make much difference. Maybe we should both move to a "swing state".
Flip, funny you should say that. I was just talking with a friend about that. Most of the propositions here passed and, of 17, I favored only 2.
Bob, In NY, we didn't have any propositions to vote on, but listen to one that was on Pennsylvania's ballot. " Do you favor a law that state justices must retire on December 31st of the year they reach the age of 75?". They don't bother to tell you that the current law is at age 70.
That is just dishonest. Here, some stores charge for plastic or paper bags. "We" passed a prop that the state gets that money.
MAYBE the stores bought more bags with that money!

Trump should be able to do everything he wants,,he is the first President since the 1960's to have this much power..of course that can be a good thing or a bad thing..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
Terry, Trump will have no more power than any other US president. Where on earth do you get that kind of misinformation.
MsBob, Terry's comment about power is correct, that is what we were told by the political analysts here in OZ, Trump has the numbers in your various tiers of government, which in theory has no opposition.- ----An interview seen here with Matt Damon, he said if Trump becomes President, he and his family are moving to Australia--- Welcome MATT.
Political analysts in Australia said so.
Well, guys, who am I, in America, reading multiple opinions and, listening to both sides of the aisle "news", and actually " living the dream", to question analysts in Australia? Did they correctly predict our election as well?

Bob.??.Republicans won the Senate 51-46..republicans won the House 238--193..and President Republican...so no matter in what vote they have,,Republicans have very little opposition,,as i said before that can be good or bad,,only time will tell..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..
Trump is not guaranteed carte blanche approval of every proposal, even with 99% of the Congress on his side of the aisle. Their job is not to allow everything a "Pass GO". I think you guys in OZ don't pay enough attention to the "man behind the curtain".
Also, there are 435 members in the House of Representatives, and 100 members of Congress, 2 from each state
