    Oh,gosh! We need an answer!

Long story but a guy got cement sloshed and spilled and all over a tiled floor. (And cabinets,  doors,  computer screen.....) Is there ANYTHING we can do to help our poor friend to get it up?

Will give it a go! Thanks!

The only advice I have to clean up a huge mess like that (which will harden and wreck everything) is to call a professional service that will come right away and have the cleaning solutions available. Here in Canada, one of these is called Service Master.

What do I look up to find one in Texas? Austin to be specific.....

I'm thinking....Cleaning; Cleaners; Commercial Cleaners; Professional Cleaning Services; Industrial Cleaning Services. One of these should at least be able to refer you. If not, try calling places such as Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Maybe that can refer you.

Oh, we called Lowe's and they said to sue and get a new floor.....

How ridiculous. Everyone wants to sue for everything....no such thing as an accident anymore.

I agree about use happy people but this was ridiculous and unpro. The worker had the cement mixer INSIDE the house and spilled and sloshed and poured it all over. Some went onto the work itself......

Amateur for a cheap price no doubt? That's often what people do, to save a buck or two. Then, they pay! :(

No, the so called pro was very self inflating and messed up the job for FREE! One of those "I know somebody who knows somebody"....

Uh huh...been there...done that. Fortunately, the 'worker' was an awesome perfectionist and has since gone on to own and operate a very successful business. Takes months to get him for a job now and it will be 'his men' not him.

Why didn't I think of that? I assumed that they weren't in Austin when Jh asked what to look up. (Never assume!) :)

There all over here too. Since there in Canada I assumed that they would be Nationwide in the US also. I didn't know they were that big of a company.

Oh, Z, we tried wetting towels and letting soak in. I'm afraid the cement is set. Some of that fast drying, uh, stuff....

Maybe mineral oil. It wont hurt anything.

Sounds real good, I'll suggest it to him but right now he's too depressed to act normally. I think it sounds super!
