Yes, sports brings out the worst in people and is too controversial. 

We should stick to safe subjects like religion, homosexuality, the second amendment, racism and the proper length of women's hair.

Let's leave ALL controversial topics out of akaQA. Those would be anything that we've debated among ourselves....sports, sexual preference, American politics, religion, moderators, hair length, human rights, animal rights, music choice, medical advice, food allergies, gun laws, Canadian politics (have we even mentioned that one?), make up, health issues, school subjects, and what "the owners" should be doing. I hope that I have not missed anything but no doubt, someone will let me know if I have.    LOL!!!

I take it you meant politics and not sports.

If I were CEO of akaQA I would issue an immediate ban of, or at the very least censorship, of all Q&As of a political nature, and the U.S electioneering in particular. But as I am not your CEO you can all breathe a deep sigh of relief and I will have to put up or shut up, at least till November.
