Being a famous athlete seems to bestow special privilege. In his case, I think his disability helps as well. His proven horrific temper seems lost in the decision.

The fact that he killed her is not in question,but rather did he intend to kill her,did he know it was her in the bathroom,did he think it was an intruder in there and he fired in fear,,he looked like a man of confidence with his legs on,,i wonder if he felt like a man of fear and inferiority without them,,my point is there is a certain amount of doubt on whether he meant to kill Reeva or not,,if there is doubt then the punishment is enough..or maybe he is a cold blooded killer who will kill again..where there is doubt," innocent till proven guilty" is the order of the day..>>>>>>>><<<<<<..

That rat-bag should be put away for at least 16 years, they are setting a precedent that the sentence is less when it is domestic violence, South Africa another country which needs to amend their gun laws.

Well, I'll be go to h***. I followed the ordeal for a while and had thought it drizzled away. And now this. At least he got some time, there is bound to be some less than sympathetic prisoners in there with him. I wonder if they'll let him take his legs along with him?
