I have a huge secret I want to share with my family but my grandfather swore me to secrecy. I told him after he dies, I will share it with the rest of the family, but for now, my grandfather's most wonderful secret is for me to treasure only.

I can keep a secret forever if asked to do so. I still have never told anyone about a friend of mine who had an illegal abortion way back in the seventies. I think about it every time I run into 'the father', who has no idea that I (or anyone else) know anything about it. :(

The days when you could hear the words clear, great song great band. 1976 working hard bringing up a family, they were good days but not easy.

So glad to hear you talk about songs in which you can understand the words. I keep thinking it's just my hearing, which has deteriorated. I can't understand most songs, especially by the new, young singers.

I think it's because they don't open their mouths, and breath in the right places Ducky. There are not many young singers who you can hear these days, listen to any of the oldies , and the words are clear, so it can't be our ears.

Good. Same with old movies. Modern movie makers seem obligated to have constant music playing in the background. Not so with older movies.
