Dear Mom,
It was fun to visit Sun Maid Raisins in Kingsburg, California. Did you know if a bin has a single sticker, the whole bin is rejected! A bin hold 400 pound of Raisins.
Another interesting, and distressing, fact I learned is that maggot eggs are in raisins. There is a way to weigh the percentage of the fruit containing eggs. Over a certain percentage results in rejection.
The Sun Maid girl is a real person's portrait from decades ago.
