Ages ago .... I went ballistic with descriptors about my then booking agent's shoddy work ethic and how I hadn't gotten work through them for too long on an exclusive contract....

Meanwhile [and there's always a 'meanwhile'] my housemate had forgotten to tell me there was a call for me and he'd left the phone on the kitchen table for me.... minutes before and well ... you guessed it ... my agent was on the line.

Needless to say I was calling up several other agencies in a gosh darn hurry..... LoL   WOOPSY!   ;D

Over the years I have done many 'dumb tricks', most of which I have long since forgotten, so I'll just relate to the last one.

I suffer from what's commonly known as Dry Eye Syndrome, which, paradoxically, results in watery eyes. The treatment/prophylaxis for this condition is a solution of artificial tears available in small plastic bottles. To save you from any more boredom, on this particular day, instead of putting eye drops in my eyes it was ear drops. This resulted in a few minutes of extreme discomfort.
