No hammock. Think our van should have been included on a recall by ford. Vehicles similar would start up and catch on fire. Exactly what happened. Fire department said vehicle was running when they pulled it out of the garage, at 2 am in the morning.

Ages ago on the prairie farm I lived at my then boy-fiend had a burn barrel going for quite some time just burning scrub. That winter was weird weather and no snow, no rain, nothing really but a few major blizzards early on. Snow was rare and on this farm there was only this one pathetic snow bank out in the middle of a hay field surrounded by bone dry grasses.
At about 3 in the morning I woke to my dogs barking [ole Dan and a beautiful movie-star Sheepdog that we were dog-sitting].They were barking up a storm! I looked outside right away because the golden red glow of a now raging barnyard fire was lighting up the front field ... like holy yikes! Ultimately, after battling that bloody fire with a couple from up the road for a couple of hours [landlords actually] we had to give in and call the closest fire brigade. At one point my land lady and I were surrounded by about a dozen Coyotes [she was freaked out] because we had run out of water and I suggested we go start bucketing up that lone snow bank...LOL So there we were. Coyotes are really curious critters and some of these were also Coy-dogs so I just yelled really harshly at them and rushed at a few of them while beating on a bucket which succeeded in scaring them off to the tree-line which was much better on the nerves to say the least. I must say that the night was incredibly beautiful that night ... stars piercing the sky and the moon was nearly full ... no clouds ...with the added advantage of being up on a low lying hill so we could see for miles in some places [that's why we could see the Coyotes!] and the prairies of Alberta can get some pretty.
