Should missionaries convert indigenous people to Christianity or Islam or leave them to their own beliefs?

I believe that these people should not have their beliefs changed.

it's OK to bring the concepts to others and allow them free choice whether or not to embrace a different set of beliefs. Missionaries often have an agenda, and free choice isn't it.

Purpose, something they hope to accomplish...many "Native Americans" weren't given information about Christianity and allowed to choose. In the early days of Islam, it was your choice to choose wisely.

I understand the meaning of 'agenda'. I'm just not sure what kind of an agenda a missionary would have nor why.

Converts. Bigger numbers. Acceptance into an area that might otherwise be hostile. I don't mean to suggest accepting faith isn't their primary purpose. I do sound suspicious. Too many history classes...

All beliefs believe they have the answer,and so they will spread their doctrine to anybody and everybody to help them save their own soul,,,but in the end it is up to the person to decide what belief they wish to follow,always it is up to the person,,however some of the cults do not give that option..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
