        Yes, I can and do sew a button back on where it belongs. It's one of my talents.       :)

            Often have to sew buttons on when I've bought something brand new. Mine will never come off again either.

            Gotta sew some buttons on a couple of sweaters my dad wore and get them cleaned. They are Father's Day gifts for my two sons who have children, who have become the conscientious dads my dad always was (family first). I hope they understand the symbolism and wear the sweater, at least at home during the winter.

            Thank you, Ducky. They are just doing the "right" things, finally. The one in the Army once said he wanted to wear a ring like Grandpa wore.....a tiger's eye "pinkie" my mom gave him. I have that for him and hope we both live long enough for me to give it to him.

                yes I can, but I am looking for some one to make about a dozen long sleeve shirts to short sleeve. Any takers??

                  As a child, I learned how to sew buttons on, darn socks, sew patches on clothing, as well as alter the length of my "hand-me-down" pants.
